     Pastor Evangelist Dr. Mary L. Springs is a native of Fayetteville, North Carolina, where she received her early Christian education and training at Friendship Baptist Church. She was saved and baptized in April 1975. She rededicated her life to Christ at Williams Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in 1979. She received the Baptism in the Holy Ghost in 1985. She flows in prophecy, teaching, preaching, and word of knowledge. She is the Co-Founder, Co-Pastor, Vice President, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, and Deputy Chairperson of the Board of Directors for the nonprofit corporation, River of Life Christian Ministry, located in San Antonio, Texas.

     Dr. Springs has functioned and served in a wide variety of ministerial leadership positions at churches and base chapels throughout the United States, Italy, Germany, and the United Kingdom as she traveled with her husband,  +Bishop Michael J. Springs, Presiding Bishop, River of Life Christian Ministry, who faithfully served 30 years as a Chief Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force. Evangelist Springs worked extensively with Gospel Service Worship Committees, Jail Ministries, Drama Guilds, Visitation Committees, Worship Leader, Nursing Home Ministries, Cross-denominational ministry settings, Outreach Ministries, Counseling, Sunday School teacher, Bible Studies, Associate Pastor of Education and Training, and Adult Choir Director and President. As the Minot Air Force Base Adult Choir Director, she assisted recording artist Clarence N. Agard, Jr. in recording a live album, entitled, Praises from the Chapel. Pastor Springs has also had the distinct privilege in her travels to speak at various Women's groups, workshops, churches, MC, and a host of Kingdom of God functions.

     Dr. Springs accepted her call to the Gospel Ministry on June 19, 1994, and was licensed January 28, 1995 by the National Baptist Convention while living in Aviano, Italy. After five years of faithful and dedicated service to the local Church of Jesus Christ, she was prayerfully elevated and ordained to the office of Elder (Evangelist) in the Gospel Ministry on June 8, 2000, by The Most Reverend ++Archbishop David Michael Copeland, D.Min., Senior Pastor of New Creation Christian Fellowship, San Antonio, Texas, and Presiding Prelate of Kingdom Council of Interdependent Churches and Ministries, and The Right Reverend +Bishop Trevor Dean Alexander, D.D., Senior Pastor of True Vine Church, San Antonio, Texas at the annual Kingdom Council of Interdependent Christian Churches Ministries conference in San Antonio, Texas.

     Dr. Springs attended public schools in Fayetteville, North Carolina, where she graduated from Anne Chestnut Senior High School. She earned an Associate in Applied Science degree in Medical Secretarial Science from Lafayette Business College in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She also attended the Historically Black College and University, Fayetteville State University. Through the years, she continued her education by taking several Accounting courses to enhance and sharpen her occupational skills. In February 2002, she received a diploma for Medical Billing Specialist from At-Home Professions, located in Fort Collins, Colorado, and received a certificate for Medical Coding Specialist in August 2004 from Saint Philip's College in San Antonio, Texas. In 2008, Evangelist Springs attended New Horizons Computer Learning Centers, in San Antonio, TX, studying Medical Coding. That same year, she was awarded a Certified Professional Coding (CPC) certification in Medical Coding. Dr. Springs received her Honorary Doctor of Divinity from Elbon Solution College of Ministry, Apple Valley, California  on 21 October 2023, a component of Faith Ministries International Network of Churches, Inc,

     Dr. Springs has received a wealth of knowledge and a well-rounded Christian education and training from various educational and training resources since she rededicated her life to the Lord Jesus Christ in 1979. She received training through Bible training classes, group studies, conferences and workshops, Walk-through-the-Bible seminars, self-study, and practical ministerial experience at various churches in the Continental United States and overseas, such as the Rock Church of Italy. The Rock Church is affiliated with Rock Ministerial Fellowship International, under the capable leadership of the late Right Reverend Bishop John Jimenez and his wife, The Reverend Anne Jimenez, Senior Pastor of Rock Church of Virginia Beach. Her ecclesiastical covering is with Faith Association of Ministries International (FAMI), under the honorable leadership of Apostle John E. Fults, Sr.

     Dr, Springs and her husband have been married for more than 41 years. They have one son, Tyrone, who lives in Minnesota.
